Carson & Jasper

Who would have ever thought that one of my kids would be kissing a dog like that???

Clemson Homecoming

We left for Greenville Friday afternoon in the rain and fog with a sick kid in tow. (Carson - another random fever caused by ALWAYS putting his hands in his mouth) After a quick stop at mom & dad's house, we headed to my brother-in-law Cory's 40th birthday party. It was a lot of fun but we had to cut the evening short because we wanted to get up early to leave for the game. Saturday, Jeff went to the grocery store to get our tailgating supplies while Molly & I got ready for the game. (Carson did not go with us because he had not been very well behaved at school that week) I was a little worried about the weather but "Weatherman Jeff" assured me that things would be just fine - and he was right. We got to Clemson in time for Jeff and Molly to go watch the Tiger Walk and then tailgated with friends until game time.
During half time, we met up with some friends from North Augusta to go see the Homecoming floats. They looked a lot better than I expected after all that rain. And I think the girls had
their picture taken with every float there!

Fun on the Farm...

Jeff and I went to an engagement party for some of our friends - Brent & Whitney - over the weekend. Brent grew up on a farm in Alabama and his family treated us to a day of good, ol' fashioned country fun. The day started with a clay shoot, followed by cocktails, dinner and hanging out around the camp fire!

Here we are -
me - shooting a gun for the 1st time
Jeff - warming up for the tournament

And thanks again to my favorite younger sister - Beth - for hanging out with our kids all weekend so that we could go out of town!

We love FALL!!!

F is for football - Clemson is our favorite team

A is for autumn's colors of orange, gold and green

L is for all the leaves crunching on the ground and

L is for the laughter of children that can be heard all around!

Election Day FUN!

I absentee voted so the kids and I could "play" on election day intead of waiting in line to vote. We went to the Riverbanks Zoo and had a blast. We see something new and interesting each time we go. This visit, out favorite was the penguin feeding - they get very excited (jumping and swimming) while waiting for the fish. It was so much fun to watch the penguins (and the kids) zipping around.

Trick-or-Treating Fun

Halloween was a busy day for us all - parties, costumes, trick-or-treating and the list goes on and on. I love, love, love Halloween but I DO NOT like to dress up! But, sometime you do what you have to do. There was a Halloween costume contest at work and the Rehab Department went as the big bad wolf, 3 little pigs, little red riding hood and and her granny (me).

I left work a little early and headed back to town for Molly and Carson's Fall parties.

And we almost went crazy waiting for it to get dark enough to go trick-or-treating. We were able to hold the kids off until about 6:30 and we were some of the first ones out. We went trick-or-treating with some neighbors/friends and had a great time!
